Jerrett Sandridge

Jerret graduated from Friendswood High School just south of Houson where he was a highly decorated baseball player. While playing at Friendswood, Jerrett was named to the First Team All District as Pitcher, Hitter and 3rd baseman across multiple years.  He was further named to the First Team All Houston Area as both a Pitcher and Hitter. Following graduation, he went on to play collegiately at Texas A&M Kingsville and with Alvin Community College.

After college, from 2001-2004 Jerrett coached at Hardball Baseball Academy in Houston Texas.  While with Hardball, he was both a personal hitting and pitching instructor and also coached their 12u and 14u Select teams.

Jerrett eventually moved to the Dallas, Ft. Worth area to pitch for the Forth Worth Cats. After a season with the Cats, he went to work for Edge Extreme in Flower mound Texas as a pitching and hitting instructor along helped organize and manage  baseball camps. While with Edge, Jerrett had the opportunity to assist a Texas Ranger baseball camp hosted by Jim Sundburg and Rudy Jaramillo.  Following the Edge's closure, Jerrett returned to Houston and assumed responsibility as Pitching Coach and Closer for the Bay Area Toros professional baseball team.

Jerrett has now returned to the DFW Area and we are lucky to have him at The Dugout as an integral part of our coaching staff.  He uses a practical, direct teaching style while maintaining a casual, fun and engaging atmosphere.  There is little fluff or wasted time when Jerrett coaches.  He approaches each session with the mindset of getting the most practical, repeatable results with the time available.  Jerrett can cover the gambit; he can help getting a 1st year player up-and-running by teaching the most fundamental of fundamentals, or help the 5th year player hone specifics by analyzing and improving key aspects of their movements.

Please give us a ring if you'd like to schedule lessons with Jerrett.  It will be well worth your while.
